If you are using a computer that has been setup with a firewall or filter that won’t allow you to join the event, try turning off your VPN, firewall or use a non-company laptop and internet connection to re-enter the event.
Otherwise, please follow the below requirements to set up your firewall to enable access to Venue.
Venue uses a live audio/video stream service called Agora. To use Venue, you need to make sure you follow Agora's firewall requirements (https://docs.agora.io/en/Agora Platform/firewall?platform=Web#a-nameweb-sdkartc-sdk-web). We are currently using Agora's RTC SDK (Web) Version 4.4.0.
Agora is the main test in our firewall testing script that we require all attendees to pass before entering an event . Agora suggests domain allowlisting and enabling port range as per their instructions referenced below. They do not supply a list of stable IPs unfortunately. According to Agora: ".. add the domains and ports to the firewall allowlist, and do not set restrictions on IP addresses."
Specifically, please:
Allow TCP ports: 80; 443; 3433; 4700 to 5000; 5668; 5669; 6080; 6443; 8667; 9667; 30011 to 30013
Allow UDP ports: 3478; 4700 to 5000
Websocket connections are allowed in that environment
Allowlist the following domains:
Venue
*.venue.live
Agora (real-time audio/video streaming)
*.agora.io
*.edge.agora.io
*.sd-rtn.com
*.edge.sd-rtn.com
